SALES RESPONSIBILITIES • Identifying and establishing new business. • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams. • Organizing sales visits to new and existing customers in the USA. • Liaising with existing clients enquiring clients enquiring into new business or upgrades to existing infrastructure. • Attending of trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings in the allocated sales region for MMD America. • Creation of ongoing management of the forecasts associated with equipment sales and presenting these monthly to the relevant management structures. • Developing growth strategies and plans. • Providing pre- and post-sales support. • Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients. • Increasing client base. • Following industry trends locally and internationally. • Ability to travel in and around the USA. • Ability to travel to UK, typically once a year

ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES • Concept generation and price estimation for clients. • Drafting of project schedules and Scope of Word documents. • Perform design calculations to determine suitability of equipment. • Preparing tenders, business proposals and quotations. • Negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions with the relevant stakeholders. • Liaising with engineering staff and external providers to obtain accurate information for project controls, planning, scheduling, and costs. • Work directly with engineering staff and customers to produce drawings, and sketches, electronic images and verbal descriptions for proposals, tenders or quotations. • Facilitate the handover between the Business Development & Sales team and the Engineering and Project team. REQUIREMENTS • Excellent MS Office knowledge (word, outlook, power point) • 4 year Batchelors degree in mechanical engineering. • 2 year Work experience in sales environment in mining industry. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: • Willing to travel frequently domestically within the USA. • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • Discretion and confidentiality • Familiarity with design packages such as AutoCAD will be advantageous. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details, deadlines, and requests. • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple projects and/or requests concurrently. • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals throughout the company. • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead and communicate with employees, supervisor and management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
