Full description of the position

We are looking for a strategic, inspirational, and driven Territory Sales Manager to lead our In-Home Program in the Dallas, San Antonio, RGV, Austin and Tennessee. Partnering with a team of In-Home Sales Consultants you will be instrumental in the overall production goal achievement, day-to-day management, and leadership of a sales driven and customer focused program.

Job Description:

  • Be responsible for achieving monthly sales, margin and closing objectives on an individual and team basis.
  • Maintain the highest customer experience level consistent with the Conn’s HomePlus culture.
  • Resolve issues in a timely manner and be consistent with Conn’s HomePlus expectations.
  • Review and conduct an analysis of all facets of Home Improvement sales on a weekly basis.
  • Assist in the creation of sales goals for team members and methods to achieve.
  • Provide consistent and continuous updates, feedback and recommendations to the flooring sales team that is focused on driving for results.
  • Conduct In-Home sales calls with the In-Home sales team consultants focused on monitoring selling presentations and to ensure the performance meets the Conn’s HomePlus standards of excellence.
  • Develop the In-Home Sales Consultants by setting clear expectations, assisting with their tools needed for success, providing continual and effective communication, and conducting regular training meetings in addition to field customer visits.
  • Maintain the high standards of conduct, appearance and accomplishments that are consistent with Conn’s HomePlus values.
  • Assist in the recruiting, hiring, on-boarding and training of all new employees.
  • Continuously evaluate the team and assist with training and/or coaching as needed.
  • Work to build and maintain relationships with Conn’s HomePlus retail store location managers and sales teams to ensure that the team is focused on promoting the flooring program.
  • Conduct program presentations at all in-store sales meetings.
  • Partner with the Installation contractors to meet installation timelines and customer expectations
  • Conduct job site inspections for professionalism and customer engagement
  • Handle customer concerns and advocate for solutions
  • Support the back-office operations with information needs for accurate processing
  • Work with District Managers and Stores in order to generate leads

Requirements:

  • A strong leadership style along with a solid understanding and experience in retail home sales and/or services.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is Preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in management
  • Outstanding organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • The flexibility and willingness to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to work well independently and as team, while meeting tight deadlines and working with a strong sense of urgency and a goal driven mind set.
  • A strong business acumen coupled with strong leadership skills, critical thinking and analytical skills, while being customer service focused.
  • The willingness to work flexible schedules whenever necessary during peak performance times and/or special project needs.
  • Strong computer skills and are proficient in Microsoft Suite and iPad usage.
  • A solid working knowledge of in-home sales and flooring products.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
