The Nestled Recovery is an upscale-boutique addiction treatment and recovery center looking for an Admissions Counselor to join our dedicated and compassionate team.
Our mission is to help individuals suffering from addiction or addiction and mental health break the chains of addiction and suffering and leave lasting positive influences related to conscious recovery and holistic wellness for generations to come.
Summary:
This position is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships within the community to develop consistent referral sources for admissions to RTC, detox, and IOP, with a heavy focus on developing and maintaining relationships with Veterans, the VA Health System, and Veteran community services. Being able to communicate program details and gather necessary information in an effective and professional manner is essential. Day-to-day responsibilities may vary. Director must also be able to manage an admissions team to assure that viable leads are being followed up on and census of all levels of care maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage long-term relationships with other providers, facilities and personal/professional contacts both local and out of town.
- Cultivate new and existing client business relationships through networking, client site visits, references, social media, etc.
- Provide accurate information on the process of addiction and recovery to community providers
- Coordinate with the Admissions team to assist in follow through and a smooth transition from the point of contact with potential referral through admission to NRC programs.
- Act as liaison for referral sources (provides updates on admission and discharge information to referral source).
- Coordinate transportation if/when clients are unable to arrange for their own transportation (i.e. discharging from another hospital, airport pickups, etc).
- Responsible for obtaining reports from outside professionals (referring physician, hospital, treatment facilities) to provide to the admissions team.
- Collaborate with billing company and admissions team to run VOBs
- Responsible for administrative duties and tours when necessary.
- Special Projects as needed (open houses, community events, workshops, etc).
- Answer phone calls for referrals to treatment and assist with incoming potential client phone calls as needed.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of mental health and substance abuse program models.
- Two or more years of verifiable experience as marketer or clinical liaison preferred or
- Three or more years of verifiable experience in a phone-sales rep role preferred
- Established community contacts, specifically within the VA Health System preferred
- Willingness to travel outside of the local market (i.e. Northern Nevada, California, Oregon, etc)
- Reliable transportation required
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent or Veteran of the Armed Forces.
- College Degree in business, psychology, or mental health field preferred
Minimum Requirements
- Three or more years of verifiable experience in a recruiter, admissions, or intake role preferred.
- Three or more years of verifiable experience in a management/supervisor role preferred.
- Three or more years in a community liaison position where cultivation and maintenance of key community contacts was/is involved.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
