Full Job Description

IGT Logistics INC, a nationwide third-party logistics provider (3PL) headquartered in Itasca, IL is seeking an experienced Director of Operations and Carrier Sales to join our team.

The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, multitasking, ambitious, and eager to put in the time and effort needed to take the business to the next level.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of successful experience in the transportation, logistics, and freight brokerage industry;
• Minimum of two years of successful management experience;
• Excellent understanding of how a Carrier Sales department should be structured;
• Strong work ethics (professionalism, reliability, discipline, high productivity);
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills;
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills;
• Ability to multitask (ensure load coverage, communicate with the team, work on individual tasks, etc);
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supportively lead, coach, and build the Carrier Sales Team;
• Create, execute, and train the team on State of Work (SOW) for carrier sales processes;
• Manage KPI development, deployment, and adherence;
• Establish and manage carrier relations and development activities that support the overall carrier sales strategy;
• Closely collaborate with the Customer Sales Team to ensure exceptional customer service performance;
• Conduct regular team performance reviews and coach employees accordingly;
• Respond to client escalations after traditional work hours and assigned weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
