DLP Services is currently accepting applications for the position of:
POSITION TITLE: Sales Representative
Location: San Antonio,TX
FLSA: Exempt
Hire Pay: DOE
Classification: Full time
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Sales Representative will develop and identify potential customers, explain services, and establish and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.

JOB SUMMARY:
  • Promoting the staffing and services divisions.
  • Explain service information to customers.
  • Contact current or potential customers to promote products or services.
  • Answer customer questions about our services.
  • Distribute promotional material to customers.
  • Identify prospective customers, using business directories, leads from existing clients, participation in organizations, trade shows, or conference attendance.
  • Gather customer or product information to determine customer needs.
  • Attend events to develop professional knowledge.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information.
  • Scheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others.
  • The sales representative is expected to prioritize, organize, and accomplish the assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to persuade others in a professional manner
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and function well in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
  • Attention to detail and active listening is a must.
  • Must be able to travel
  • Provide excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have computer skills.
  • Must be bilingual.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Receives supervision from the Business Development/Sales Director. The position has formally assigned supervisory responsibility and authority. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The principal duties of this position are to perform in an indoor and outdoor environment.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP Services has a Drug Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have 2+ years of experience
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
Other: Valid Drivers’ License Class C
