Retail Sales Representative - Manasota Flooring

Description:
Manasota Flooring, a local, family owned and operated business with more than 40 years of flooring experience and expertise, is searching for an outgoing, service-oriented and experienced flooring sales representative for our Bradenton & Sarasota showrooms. Our ideal candidate has flooring experience and a sales background, but we are open to training the right person to join our team. This position is optimal for someone who is interested in a long-term career and commitment with a dedicated local company.

Salary & Benefits:
Pay is based on experience and benefits are available for full-time employees. This position offers commission with draw and training pay, with no cap on earnings.

Duties & Responsibilities:
● Working with staff and customers on the sales floor, providing and arranging estimates and measuring for projects.
● Following up on internet leads and creating potential leads, creating and fostering relationships through customer service.
● Bidding residential, commercial and new construction flooring projects and opportunities.
● Proactively handle customer complaints and resolve issues.
● Utilizing RFMS software system; experience in program is a plus in addition to experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and similar programs.

Requirements & Qualifications:
While a degree is not required, we are interested in investing in a candidate with experience in the flooring and retail industry. While flooring and industry experience is preferred, applicants of all skill levels are welcome to apply. RFMS software experience is desirable, but training is available. Ideal applicants have experience in sales and flooring, with contacts in the construction and remodeling industry, along with networking experience. Applicants for this position should be team players, service-oriented, assertive and able to manage and build relationships and rapport, with the ability to follow through and provide exceptional customer service.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
