The UPS Store in Downtown Santa Barbara is looking for part-time and full-time Customer Service/Sales Associates. The ideal Associate candidate will have retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma/GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, a professional appearance, and will be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ship products via various types: UPS or USPS (determine shipping method; select appropriate shipping container; pack items to ensure safe delivery)
* Data Entry
* Mail Sorting, and putting away in the appropriate mailboxes.
* Answering phones/messages, emails, helping customers with issues regarding their purchases
* Handle the store independently, and keep it clean and organized.
* Knowledge of a POS system.
REQUIRED:
* Must be available to work Saturday and Monday
* Must be able to carry boxes up to 50-60lbs.
* Excellent oral communication skills
* Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Word
* Passion for customer service, selling, and product knowledge
* Organized, and able to provide an outstanding customer service.
* Good References
* Bilingual in Spanish, Notary, or has previous job experience with UPS store is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
