Territory Sales Manager, Pacific Northwest

Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana

Join the exciting and growing AgTech industry. AquaSpy is an established
AgTech player, with more than 10 years in the field and we are looking for someone to build out our presence in the Pacific Northwest.

AquaSpy is looking for a territory sales manager who will build and manage a dealer channel (ex., co-ops, retailers, partners, ag consultants, etc.) in

Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and western Canada to grow sales of the
AquaSpy IoT platform for soil moisture monitoring.

The role is remote, but the candidate must reside in Oregon, Washington, or
Idaho and be familiar with the Pacific Northwest agricultural community.

Key elements of the role include:

  • Identify and secure new dealer relationships within the territory
  • Drive sales development and ensure sales metrics are reached within the region and within the individual dealerships
  • Train and support the dealer in all aspects of selling and installing and analyzing the AquaSpy platform
  • Assist dealers in closing their pipelines with growers
  • Monitor dealer installations to ensure accurate data is presented in AgSpy. Train dealers so they can effectively use the AquaSpy platform to create value with their grower clients.
  • Ensure timely order processing and dealer payments

Capability Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following experience/capabilities/skills:

  • Successful experience in developing and running a dealer channel
  • Ideally, lives in Spokane, Yakima, Columbia Valley, or Idaho. Some travel to western Canada required.
  • Access to a list of dealer candidates across the assigned region to drive sales from the start
  • Crop consulting background or Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) credentials a plus
  • Successful sales experience selling in the agriculture market; specifically the outdoor farming market
  • Ability to demonstrate software solutions live or virtually
  • Ability to travel 50% on average, with seasonal spikes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
