Full description of the position

Vapor Lounge is seeking a driven District Manager to manage all retail activities in their district, role-model strong leadership skills to their team, and uphold the company’s expectations of excellent customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities of a District Manager:

Maintain and grow a portfolio of successful locations: Communicate sales and performance goals. Develop district-level strategies to achieve each store’s operational, sales, and customer-service goals, while addressing each store’s unique strengths and challenges. Host company and manager meetings as well as team builders and other company events. Assist in opening new locations.

Lead a team of leaders: Conduct weekly store visits, providing coaching and feedback accordingly. Hire and train members of store leadership. Collaborate with store managers to execute coaching and disciplinary actions, as well as discuss ways to motivate their team to achieve store goals and reinforce discount expectations. Conduct performance evaluations.

Role Models Leadership: Shapes the culture of the stores by modeling core values and leadership capabilities. Sets clear expectations and drives accountability.

Maintains Operations Expectations: Assess grand open ready to standard. Hold staff accountable for inventory and shrink. Confirm stores have all supplies needed to function properly, and stock supplies as needed. Assess staff schedules and verify they are written to accommodate volume and busy times.

Be a resource: Create, maintain, and update company documents. Communicate new policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

· Must have a high school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred.

· A minimum of 5 years of retail sales management experience required.

· Knowledge or usage of vapor products preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and manage a team.

· Exceptional organizational, time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent sales and customer service skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
