ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
The Univision Network Audio Division is seeking a talented Senior Account Executive to join its Audio Network team. This is a great career opportunity for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our Audio team. We are looking for someone with a proven record of revenue generation and a deep interest and passion for audio. We want someone who loves our product and knows how to sell creative solutions for clients and partners.
YOUR DAY-DAY:
  • Sell podcast shows and content in order to grow advertising revenues by creating, maintaining, and sustaining relationships with media agencies, creative agencies, and clients directly
  • Create opportunities with our Podcast product that can live across our Network Audio ecosystem
  • Cultivate relationships and service new and existing key accounts to increase revenue
  • Look for opportunities to develop monetization solutions for clients, and ensure clients receive superior customer service.
  • Work across multiple agency departments, i.e., TV, Audio, Digital and Partner Solutions teams to deliver successful campaigns
  • Focus on consultative brand selling, educating, and inspiring our clients to use Uforia Podcasts to enhance their business
  • Meet and exceed advertising revenue goals
  • Attend weekly and monthly sales meetings/trainings as required
  • Represent Univision at events and serve as a brand ambassador, communicating our core narratives and reinforcing the strong position Uforia holds in the marketplace
  • Accurate forecasting, reporting daily and weekly and timely insights about your business and customers is vital.
  • Work closely with support staff and other departments to ensure smooth execution of all campaigns
YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field (or High School Diploma / GED and 9 years of comparable experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years media sales experience with a proven history of meeting and exceeding sales goals and driving YOY growth and a demonstrated track record in closing new business
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to consultatively sell, present effectively and close the deal
  • Ability to build, manage and close a pipeline of prospects, and proven track record of exceeding goals
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills and the ability to translate ideas into clear, high-impact communications presenting in front of a client
  • Dynamic personality with ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills as well as ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Drive and passion to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Fluency in Spanish (read and write) is a plus, but not required
  • Demonstrated experience in digital advertising and ability to work and sell in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Time flexibility required to interact with people in different geographical locations, and work extended hours, sometimes on short notice due to project deadlines and to attend after-hours client events
  • Ability to travel nationwide to attend client meetings, conferences, seminars and industry events

New York Salary Range: $120,000 - $145,000
