Full description of the position

This position is for a person with several years experience in the Independent Insurance Agency system, with knowledge of personal lines or commercial lines of insurance. Please do not apply if you do not have at least a 440 insurance license; a 220 insurance license is preferred.

We have an immediate opening for a person with personal lines experience and a growing need in commercial lines.

In personal lines we write primarily standard auto and homeowners. In commercial lines we insure a broad range of business types.

We require good writing and speaking skills, a good working knowledge of commonly used computer software such as Word, Excel, and Adobe and good work ethics.

Our management software is Applied Systems (TAM) so experience with this system is helpful but not required.

You'll need to know how to organize and manage your work, get work done well ahead of deadlines, and communicate pleasantly with clients. You need to have a pleasant, positive attitude and the ability to get along with people.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year based on ability

Visitors and customers rarely come in the office. We installed a barrier wall with a window so that visitors cannot enter directly into the office.
