Catering Sales Representative

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Catering Sales Representative is responsible for identifying new client opportunities, creating catering proposals, building venue and vendor sales relations, and developing lasting sales-generating industry partnerships.

Catering Sales Responsibilities:

• Generate new catering sales inquiries, fulfill incoming sales requests, and help client relations.
• Create custom proposals for events, manage client expectations, and close event contracts
• Represent Dave’s/Sip Fresh at key industry networking events to identify & and grow sales business
• Create effective sales tools, and proposals.
• The Catering Sales Representative is responsible for communicating all event needs to the Dave’s /Sip Fresh team with appropriate recommendations to maximize profit, minimize event costs, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Catering Sales Representative’s ability and efforts to foresee important event details and communicate logistics/program needs clearly between Client, venue, and Dave’s/Sip Fresh is an extremely important function of the position.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required; you may be asked to work key weekends & holidays.
• Responsible for individually tracking her/his sales and leads, and for keeping accurate & up to date company sales reports for the team.
• The Catering Sales Representative should come prepared with accurate information and updates for any sales meetings. Also,be prepared to meet with the leadership team regularly to brainstorm new potential leads or channels of business to improve sales.
