Scan Home is seeking a qualified sales manager to oversee the successful function of the day-to-day operations of our store. The ideal candidate is an expert in the sales process with deep experience in lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing. Objectives for this position include:
- Effectively represent the company with thorough knowledge of our products.
- Research consumer requirements and determine how our products address them.
- Recruit, instruct, inspire, and counsel a team of sales representatives.
- Achieve company objectives by meticulously planning, establishing sales targets, analyzing performance data, and making projections.
- Continuously develop skills for hiring, training, and leading team members, and ensure that they employ effective sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
- Develop and maintain client relationships by generating leads.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and local presence.
- Meet with prospective customers and cultivate enduring relationships that address their needs.
- Maintains sales personnel by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training new employees.
- Maintains sales staff work results by counseling and disciplining employees and planning, monitoring, and evaluating job performance.
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and create strategies to fill them.
- Ensure company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with the sales team to establish goals and track progress.
- Manage the end-of-month and end-of-year close processes.
- Attend vendor workshops, review publications, establish personal networks, and participate in annual conferences to keep professional and technical knowledge current.
Candidate qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years of retail sales experience
- Understanding of local competition and general industry trends.
- Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- A valid U.S. driver's license.
Compensation includes:
- $50,000-$60,000 starting salary, plus bonuses
- 401(k) plan
- Paid time off
