ABA Hearth and Home offers a complete and full-service fireplace and chimney shop including sales, installation, inspections, cleaning, and repair. Whether one is renovating an existing home, building a new home, or installing a new fireplace, we promote ourselves as being the one stop shop of choice for fireplace products, installation and chimney services. Our salespeople and our own staff of installers are qualified, knowledgeable, fully licensed and insured, and are thoroughly trained in all of the products and services we offer.
JOB SUMMARY
As Showroom Sales Representative with ABA Hearth & Home you would be responsible for handling inside sales and customer service in our company showroom.
Type of Contract: Full-time
Workdays: Tuesday through Saturday
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
WHO YOU ARE
You are a highly motivated, results driven hard-working professional with excellent client-service attitude and communication skills. In this role you will:
Take part in sales of fireplaces, inserts, logs, fire pits and related equipment to the walk-in traffic in our showroom. Provide sales support to incoming customers and phone-in queries.
Greet and engage incoming customers. Actively listen to understand specific requirements.
Educate customers on available solutions. Recommend products that best meet their needs.
Prepare quotes for fireplace installations based on client specifications.
Interface with vendors through their websites or representatives to resolve product questions.
Update the in-house customer service database with customer information.
Update the company accounting system with entries of quote, sales orders, invoices, etc.
Arrange displays and product placements. Maintain inventory of showroom items.
Build relations with existing and new clientele. Perform follow-up and support calls as needed.
Attend trainings and refresher programs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services offered by ABA Hearth & Home. Stay tuned on new products, service, and policies.
Close floor sales. Achieve set targets and applicable KPI's.
Perform sundry other tasks as may be assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Required
At lease 2 years of experience in retail and/or construction related sales.
Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
Experience in using CRM, ERP or Accounting systems.
Solid basic math capabilities with internet savvy and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Results-driven mindset with strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Presentable professional appearance and pleasant demeanor.
Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
High motivation and ethical standards.
Ability to lift upward of 30 pounds.
Preferred
Experience in fireplace industry desired, but not required.
Ability to read and interpret constructions blueprints and job specifications a definite plus.
Academic Qualifications
HS diploma or equivalent. May be offset by commensurate experience in similar role.
