Interior Department Sales Rep Yacht Chandlers Inc.

Yacht Chandlers is looking for an Interior Sales person to join our team and represent our specialized interior purchasing department ‘YC Interiors’, from our headquarters in Ft Lauderdale.

At YC Interiors by Yacht Chandlers our aim is to find practical & stylish solutions to create a unique and functional interior outfitting set up for new build yachts & refit projects, and continue to take care of our clients with all their interior needs during their operational stages.

You need to be able to advise our clients on interior layout, service flow, storage allocation, pantry/galley design, and everything that is needed for a successful full operative interior department, covering all categories.

You need to have excellent organizational skills, be able to communicate with suppliers and yacht crew, but also directly with our high profile clients.

Qualifications: Must have a bachelor’s degree or 4 years’ experience in sales/Yachting/Interior Design/supply to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Experience with Microsoft Outlook is preferred, and must have good communication skills over the phone. Typing at 40WPM and keyboard skills a must.

Job Duties: Research, present ,quote and supply Interior Luxury items for Private Yachts.

Purchasing/Selling skills, understanding buying right and margins.

You will be dealing with professional yacht crew, Interior Designers, owners reps, and luxury brands in the Interior Department.

Help with outside company events as needed, such as monthly crew events, boat shows, and other client appreciation activities.

Looking for a team player, that does what it takes to get the job done. Sometimes that means helping pack orders, coordinate deliveries, and other essential tasks to ensure orders are delivered on time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
