Job Title: Business Development Manager
Reports To: Vice President of Operations
We are a family owned and operated commercial real estate organization with over 100 years of successful business and relationships looking for a dynamic, high-performing, and results-driven individual to join our team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of exceeding real estate sales quota, loves the thrill of finding new leads, and is capable of building and growing the pipeline of the business. Candidate must have experience navigating through organizations and speaking to multiple decision-makers.
This person will find that their days are spent prospecting, cold calling, and checking in with existing clients and their needs. They are measured by their ability to bring in new business and clients. Strong organizational and follow-up skills are key, and a competitive, friendly, numbers-driven personality will thrive here.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain existing and prospective client relationships with the objective of introducing and positioning our company, services, and products to the key decision-makers and ultimately win the business
- Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline; maintain a high volume of activity including outbound cold calls, warm calls and emails.
- Collaborate with Operations Team to prepare and deliver proposals.
- Meet with customers regularly while actively seeking out and developing new business opportunities, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline
- Provide weekly sales activity reports
- Thrive in a continuous changing environment while remaining highly organized, optimistic, and coachable
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven track record of success prospecting for new business
- Ability to uncover and understand customer needs
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills; the ability to call, connect and win potential clients
- Strong critical thinking skills
- A motivated, driven, and self-starting attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Ability to multi-task, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High school degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with using CRM to track sales leads and pipeline
- Real Estate Industry and/or Property management experience is a plus.
