Your Role and Responsibilities
This role will initially entail you taking on individual Tech Sales responsibility in order to provide you product training, context and credibility for the Randori platform.
In driving the team success ….
- You will possess the ability to manage and motivate a team of Tech Sellers to achieve group sales quotas within their assigned territory, work with incoming leads, and with channel partners
- You will measure, monitor and hold Tech Sellers accountable for their activities and results as well as lead by example
- You will mentor each Tech Seller individually while also building a strong cohesive, collaborative team
- You have a solution and/or technology services background (in the Cybersecurity ecosystem) and feels at home in a fast-paced sales environment
- You will help management improve on team operational workflows and enablement
- You will align with IBM geo leaders to ensure tight alignment of sales and partner strategy and technical enablement
- You understand operational and security challenges in a large enterprise, common pain points and compliance requirements
- You present the value proposition of highly technical solutions to C-level executives.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 20+ years of security pre-sales engineering/solution architect experience or as a technical lead for an internal Information Security program with strong client facing skills.
- 2+ years in tech sales management
- Experience with security technologies, which could include network security and architecture, NGFW, cloud security, Data Security, Vulnerability & Risk Management, Proxy, EDR, IAM, DLP, CASB, SIEM, or Analytics
- Experience with two or more of the following security technologies: Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Anti Malware, Email Security, Web Content Filtering, DDoS Protection, Mobile Device Security, Endpoint Detection & Response, or Patch Management
- Experience or understanding of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISF Standard, SABSA)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with Unix and Windows operating systems and networking protocols such as: [please apply online] SMTP, DNS, RPC, FTP, DCHP and others
- Networking experience and/or certifications in areas such as: TCP/IP, OSI, Switching, Routing, NAT, VPN, WAN, ACL

- Experience in Python or other equivalent scripting languages

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
This position is eligible for participation in an IBM Sales Incentive plan. Actual incentive opportunity will be based on performance and the eligible Target Incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change. The compensation range listed for this position is the IBM Reference Salary that is used when you are not actively participating in a sales plan. Your actual base pay plus incentive opportunity will be determined by the Incentive Plan assigned to you.
