RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manages and schedules labor, equipment and material to accomplish scope of work as contracted. Maintains strict adherence to established schedules and budgets.

· Manages aspects of each job site, in accordance with company policies, the contract requirements by each customer, and federal, state and local laws

· Provide site specific instructions (and/or needed training) and account requirement details to supervisors, crew leaders and/or crew members at the beginning of daily shifts to ensure staff are prepared to complete tasks as contracted.

· Responsible for safety issues at the job site(s), monitoring employees to insure proper safety procedures are followed including reporting of accidents, injuries and all safety hazards to Custodial Services Department Manager and the Human Resources Department.

· Accounts for all employees in the event of an evacuation/emergency from the job site facility/grounds.

· Assists management with the hiring of team members for the assigned job sites.

· Keeps attendance of all crewmembers including reporting of absenteeism to Custodial Services Department Manager.

· Verifies timekeeping and proper documentation on all timecards.

· Provides Custodial Services Department Manager timecards at the end of the payroll period for payroll preparation.

· Reports any employee illness on the job to Custodial Services Department Manager.

· Schedules preventative maintenance on all equipment on a periodic basis.

· Reports any building and/or grounds maintenance issues to Custodial Services Department Manager and customer.

· Responsible for coordinating disciplinary actions, evaluations, and other personnel issues as needed with Custodial Services Department Manager.

· Perform other duties as assigned by Custodial Services Department Manager and/or Director of Commercial Services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in lawn care and landscaping with ability to perform a variety of requirements as listed herein.

2. Ability to use and provide routine maintenance to grounds-keeping equipment such as lawn mowers, zero turn mowers, leaf blowers, string trimmers, and other related equipment.

3. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

4. Ability to lift or move heavy objects up to 50lbs and the ability to perform manual labor.

5. Excellent communication and listening skills

6. Effective verbal and written communication skills

7. Possess strong work ethics

8. Ability to organize, prioritize, motivate, and deliver results

9. Knowledge of MS Excel & Word preferred.

10. Neat, clean personal appearance.

11. Ability to work solo and/or in combination with co-workers.

12. Must pass required background and motor vehicle (MVR) checks.
