Responsibilities
- Your time-management skills will be put to use as you act as the Personal Lines Department Manager and will be responsible for managing a book of personal lines High Net Worth/Private Client Group clients.
- Your relationship-building skill set will be put to use by fostering strong relationships with clients to maintain client retention.
- Utilizing your negotiation and listening skills, you'll be overcoming objections and winning back former clients.
- Your outstanding customer service skills will be essential in educating & advising clients on the best policies for their unique needs.
- Using your excellent presentation skills, you'll be working with clients to make sales presentations, cross-sell, and round out client accounts - While motivating and training the personal lines staff to do the same.
- Create an open, collaborative environment with supportive leadership.
- Ensure that departmental objectives are in alignment with overall business strategies and objectives.
- Monitor department retention, growth, and service results.
- Engage in training, development, performance of the personal lines team.
- Drive process improvement to ensure efficient, consistent, and excellent client service.
- Facilitate regular department meetings, while being a resource for technical expertise and coverage issues.
- Participate in carrier meetings to keep current on appetite, insurance offerings and programs.
- Work alongside claims team/department to make sure client's needs and expectations are met.
Requirements
- An Active Property & Casualty License is Required.
- 5+ Years of Private Client Group Account Management Experience is Required.
- Prior High Level Leadership responsibility.
- Extremely Well Organized, Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- A critical thinker and out-of-the-box problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a team player with the ability to be a leader.
- Basic computer software knowledge including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Insurance designations a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of personal lines underwriting and coverage(s).
- Significant experience and knowledge of carrier rating systems.
- Proficient in AMS360
