Our primary products include branding implementation and window film; think building graphics, wall murals, window graphics, and window tint. You'll be working with our HQ in Sykesville Maryland, traveling to different clients and projects.

Basic Function:*
The primary role of the AP Outside Sales Consultant is identifying and calling on prospective customers within your NC/SC territory. Responsibilities include building customer relationships, preparing estimates and related sales proposals and gaining new customers. The Outside Sales Rep will report to the Sales Manager and will work closely with the AP Operations team. This position will be counted on to act independently, be growth oriented and take ownership of achieving territory sales goals. Your performance within your territory will play a crucial role in AP’s success. This position will support and embody AP’s values of integrity, passion, being proactive, providing expert solutions and is relationship driven. While the exact responsibilities may vary, the main duties of the Outside Sales Consultant can be summarized as follows:

Responsibilities*:
- Identifying and calling on potential new customers
- Research and develop prospects into customers
- Achieve monthly/quarterly prospect call objectives
- Achieve monthly/quarterly close rates
- Leverage company resources including samples and marketing materials to help close business
- Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in commercial window films, graphics and wraps
- Work with Estimator to provide accurate quotes to customers
- Follow up on timely on bids and proposals confirm requirements were met and answer additional requests for information
- Manage and build relationships with key contacts/partners
- Maintain relationships with key contractors including attending company meetings
- Maintain and build network of key strategic partners including general contractors, architects and designers and related businesses
- Represent AP at events including trade shows and conferences and assist in building AP brand awareness in your territory
- Communicate productively with government entities including Procurement/Purchasing Managers
- Consistently achieve company sales quota for territory
- Follow AP sales process and maintain accurate and detailed information in Salesforce CRM including tasks related to leads
- Develop a pipeline of business equivalent to 3-4 times annual quota through pursuit of inbound leads, networking, referrals and self-generated opportunities.
- Design and deliver high impact presentations that show our unique differentiators.
- Prospecting to grow pipeline opportunities and year over year sales
- Provide industry trends and product knowledge, tell the AP Sales Story to customers
- Submit a monthly/quarterly accurate sales forecast in the CRM
- Work with Sales Operations and VP of Sales to ensure profitable sales growth
- Develop and grow customer relationships and identify new opportunities with existing customers
- Follow up timely to resolve any customer issues or complaints
- Conduct yourself professionally including via email and by phone
- Exhibit teamwork and support of all AP team members including estimator and AP Operations
- Ensure all deals are profitable for the company

Qualifications and Professional Experience
- 2+ years of sales experience – commercial film or graphics experience a plus.
- Demonstrated record of building a pipeline and quota attainment.
- Successful B2B and B2C sales background.
- Desire to work in an environment that rewards results and loyalty, and maintains high ethical standards.
- Self-starter able to successfully operate with limited management supervision.
- Outgoing personality who can develop a network of referral partners to facilitate growth.
- Customer oriented and relationship driven.
- The ability to clearly articulate business value and communicate key company differentiators.
- Analytical skills including understanding variable costing and resources needed for projects.
- Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal and consulting skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized and efficient with work schedule.
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
