Inside Sales Representative

In addition, PacStar’s unified and tactical network communications systems are ideally suited for commercial sector organizations with mission-critical, complex communications requirements. PacStar also provides Enterprise IT Solutions (EITS) reselling networking products from industry leading technology companies (HPE Aruba, Cisco, etc).
The Inside Sales Representative’s primary responsibility is to support our EITS & PSP Sales Executives.
Location: Portland OR
Your Challenge:

  • Work in tandem with Federal territory account managers to develop business with existing and prospective accounts based on PacStar’s networking solutions
  • Call and receive calls from prospects and convert into new clientele (inbound and outbound calling)
  • Increase product line sales to existing clients by soliciting orders and discussing current requirements
  • Update and manage sales funnel through the Curtiss-Wright Pivotal CRM tool
  • Prepare quotes/proposals; including Government RFP submissions
  • Process sales orders by reviewing customer purchase orders for correct terms and conditions and accurately processing such orders into Sage ERP system
  • Follow up on quotes
  • Performance requires physical attendance and/or ability to work from home
  • Other duties as assigned

Your Expertise:

  • 1-3 years of Technical inside sales experience in the areas of information technology and/or networking or equivalent education required
  • Inside sales experience supporting Government end users a plus
  • Basic understanding of Government contracting and procurement a plus
  • Strong mathematical skills (including ability to do percentages)
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
  • Strong computer skills; Word, Excel and Outlook
  • MAS 200 & CRM experience desired
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must have excellent organizational/time management skills
  • Self-motivated, high achiever, great telephone skills, ability to communicate easily with a wide range of individuals
  • Must be very comfortable developing quality business relationships and selling over the phone
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to self-organize workloads and manage all deadlines
