The Role:
FastPay's ePay solution enables media agencies (both traditional and political) to pay their suppliers more efficiently using various payment methods including virtual credit card, ACH, the FastPay Network and check. FastPay ePay is the only electronic payment solution dedicated to the media industry. Our customers benefit from greater efficiency in their finance department and earn the highest revenue share when making payments using FastPay's solution. The role requires engaging with CFOs and key leaders (President/Owners) of media agencies as well as members of the finance department to understand their payment processes and challenges related to paying invoices. The purpose of the role is to establish strategic business relationships with new clients while driving client satisfaction and maximize revenue results for FastPay. Function as an integral part of the Sales team while supporting all current go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve assigned quota within your given territory by selling FastPays portfolio of financial technology services and software development offerings for media industry clients.
  • Build a territory and account plan for the given fiscal year, leveraging existing pipeline, targeted account planning, prospecting efforts, and marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain pipeline progress and forecast accuracy, and opportunity progression via CRM.
  • Present FastPays value propositions and offerings to prospects and new clients.
  • Drive FastPays sales process and methodologies, collaborating with internal stakeholders (Customer Relationship, Marketing, Operations) to effectively close new client deals.
  • Be proficient in identifying, validating, and building relationships with all key individuals within a clients organization.
  • Drive contract negotiations with clients, leveraging internal and strategic business partners as appropriate.
  • Willingness to travel 50%+
Requirements
  • Proven track record of closing $1M to $5M+ in software or digital services per year, having demonstrated sales experience within media or payments in new client accounts.
  • Significant experience and strong understanding of the ad tech ecosystem including a well-developed network of contacts.
  • Skilled in all aspects of consultative sales and business development to include prospecting, initiation, deal qualification, closure, and customer satisfaction/client management.
  • A track record of opening new accounts and then growing them; and adeptness in building high-quality relationships versus taking a transactional approach.
  • Broad services experience across business development and delivery functions within a complex, highly matrixed, and professional services company with demonstrated ability to thrive in a results-driven, client-focused organization.
  • Leverage industry connections and network to promote FastPays capabilities.
  • Significant experience selling financial or technology services into the media or banking vertical.
