Classic Bakery, One of the premier bakery and cafes in the DC area, is looking for a cashier / barista / and customer service candidate. Our unique concept features hand crafted pastries, artisan gourmet cookies, an espresso bar that features unique drinks crafted by our expert Barista's in addition to a café selection of sandwiches and soups, salads. Classic Bakery is also a large custom cake producer and has been in business since 1991.

Qualified applicants must be motivated, high energy, and posses excellent customer service skills, in addition to a positive work ethic and the ability to work in a coordinated effort as a team in pressure situations. We call this, The Classic Way!

Required and preferred experience:

• Have worked in a bakery/café or as a barista/cashier/customer service rep at a coffee shop or food establishment with at least 1 year experience
• Good physical stamina and energy
• Great communication skills
• Looking for a long term position that will offer growth potential.

ServSafe certification is strongly recommended

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour
