Full description of the position

Compensation: $24/hr
Availability: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound phone, email & fax queries regarding information, quotes, and sales of the industrial pump and rotating equipment products and related parts
  • Primary focus on the parts order entry
  • Obtain order status; follow up and resolve customer issues
  • Assist with data, order entry, and file maintenance
  • Support applications team and outside sales representatives as needed

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of customer service experience
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines
  • Proven history of being reliable and dependable
  • Ability to work autonomously, and as a team; self-motivated
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to read, write and communicate in English
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn and apply new knowledge and skills
  • 6 months of experience in the parts sales environment is a bonus
  • Technical knowledge in the pump or related industry and/or mechanical knowledge is a plus
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
