VGrid Sales and Marketing Coordinator

California-based VGrid Energy Systems is an innovative clean energy company that processes agricultural waste into 100% sustainable and renewable electricity. Our innovative technology not only helps to displace dirty fossil fuels, but it also creates biochar, a product that stabilizes and sequesters atmospheric carbon for over a thousand of years. Biochar is a highly porous and pure form of carbon that improves the productivity of soil by retaining water, binding nutrients, and supporting beneficial microbial growth.

Additionally, the company produces a liquid plant bio-stimulant called PAF, which provides additional benefits to plant and soil health. Customers are reporting improved crop yields, more vibrant turfgrass, and healthier plants overall when using the products, while using less water and chemical fertilizers. VGrid’s biochar and PAF products are branded under the name PERSIST™.

VGrid is recruiting a “Sales and Marketing Coordinator” based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, California. The right candidate will possess the following:

• Motivated, inquisitive, self-starter that like to work with others.
• Highly organized with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business administration, or a related field of study.
• Three years of professional experience working directly with customers, with experience in agriculture, horticulture, or turfgrass management preferred.
• Experience with social media platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience with a CRM and marketing automation platform is preferred, but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitates VGrid’s overall marketing strategy, including social media communications, digital marketing efforts, email marketing automation, promotional campaigns, and trade show participation.
• Provides full-service client management activities including managing requests for quotation, communicating product availability, and shipping information.
• Processes requests for orders, quotations, customer invoice questions, and other activities in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Works with other departments, including sales, operations, and finance, to meet and exceed the needs of the customer.
• Research, qualify, develop and track customer leads generated from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, and internal research.
• Maintain customer and prospect database in CRM platform (Keap).
• Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
