Summary

Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Sales team as Group Coordinator at Grand Hyatt Washington located in downtown Washington, D.C. Grand Hyatt Washington hosts large volume conventions and also caters to leisure travelers.

The Group Sales Coordinator is an entry level position with a career path to the Sales arena. Candidates must be highly motivated and eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. This position is responsible for assisting Sales Managers with group sales leads, creating proposals, drafting Sales Agreements, entering bids into electronic RFP systems such as Cvent, Hotel Planner, Starcite, etc. Additional tasks include assisting with marketing tasks, client events, and solicitation projects This is an excellent opportunity to learn the Sales role, and progress to a Sales Manager. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor, the ability to learn new computer programs, can multitask and complete projects in a timely manner and enjoys competition. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem solving skills.
