Compensation:

Commission and paid training. On average, our sales inspectors earn between $45,000-$80,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete the necessary inspections for appointments. Inspections will include attics, crawl spaces and roofs.
  • Make treatment recommendations.
  • Provide professional and expert advice to address customer's pest concerns.
  • Negotiate all contracts with prospective clients.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Generate leads from advertising and passive referrals in addition to developing new clients within your sales territory.
  • Attend company-provided sales courses designed to improve skills.
  • Be responsible for timely and accurate reporting. Reporting will include sales calls made, proposals submitted, and disposition of prospects.
  • Provide timely and accurate information and paperwork to the appropriate service center for rendering services sold.
  • Operate and maintain an assigned vehicle in accordance with all motor vehicle laws, company policies and manufacturer's recommendations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be willing to work a Tuesday-Saturday schedule.
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license.
  • Prior sales experience (not necessarily in pest control) with a proven track record preferred.
  • Must be motivated and a self-starter.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Must be dependable, organized, and honest.
  • Must have good judgment/decision making ability.
  • Must have a positive attitude and excellent work ethics.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must have or be able to learn practical and technical knowledge of duties, functions, terminology, work procedures, regulations, and company policies.
