Full description of the position

The Personal Lines CSR is responsible for servicing our Personal Lines clients. Those are clients who have a home, auto, boat, umbrella, 2nd home, condo, motorcycle, RV, or other policy within the Personal Lines realm. The CSR coordinates the policy servicing between the client and the carrier or in some cases multiple carriers. The CSR is responsible for learning our agency systems and utilizing them to be efficient and productive in their job. The CSR is responsible for learning all of our carriers and the lines of business that each provide to our client base. The CSR can also earn extra money by cross selling new policies to our clients and selling policies to completely new clients to the agency. There are no sales quotas for CSRs but we feel most people enjoy the opportunity as it usually comes naturally during the course of the business day. Needless to say there is a learning curve and the evolution of your knowledge base will be fostered and groomed by our veteran team.

  • Answer incoming customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with management teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
  • Record customer information within our customer service database
  • Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
  • Other duties as requested
