Sales Associate / Cashier at 7-Eleven

We are looking for a retail Sales Associate / Cashier to be responsible for all sales job duties. To be successful as a Sales Associate / Cashier, you should achieve proper customer service and maintain our store’s visual appearance standards, while helping us meet our store’s sales goals. You should be able to provide customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash register and process POS (point of sale) purchases
• Handle returns of merchandise
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Work with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
• Provide customer satisfaction through great sales service
• Build good relationships with customers
• Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information
• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries

Optional Skills

• Prior experience as a retail Sales Associate, cashier, or similar role
• Experience with cash register and POS (point of sale) transactions
• Basic understanding of customer service practices
• Proficiency in English
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly personality with a customer service focus
• Basic math skills
• Familiarity with inventory procedures
• Ability to address complaints

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.50 per hour
