WHO YOU ARE:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating, selling, and enrolling Medicare beneficiaries into a GlobalHealth Medicare Advantage (MA) product. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for working with physician groups and updating client and lead information into our CRM. Works within a team environment to generate sales leads, provide weekly sales and marketing activity reporting, provide sales phone support, and conduct member retention campaigns, all while operating within the highly regulated Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) compliance guidelines.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Conducts sales presentations and direct sales activities in various settings, participates in community events and other outreach opportunities, and educates prospects and members about product offerings.
- Works with sales management on the development and implementation of an annual sales and marketing plan, including plan design, to increase overall GlobalHealth Medicare membership, revenue and market share.
- Conducts ongoing member outreach to encourage and facilitate member retention, health awareness and health improvement opportunities.
- Maintains strong familiarity of competitors and overall market environment. Communicates sales opportunities and barriers to management.
- Provides and maintains reports on business activities, productivity tracking, forecasting and sales analysis, etc.
- Closes sales from leads received from marketing campaigns and activities.
- Educates contracted providers and their staff on product benefits and other company initiatives.
- Identifies Participating Provider Groups (PPGs) and hospitals to present "hot topics" on senior products.
- Completes required trainings and re-certifications and keeps current on all regulatory and company compliance requirements.
- Performs all sales and marketing-related activities in full compliance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), federal and state laws, regulations and guidelines. Follows company policies relating to the selling and marketing of GlobalHealth Medicare Advantage products.
- Must maintain confidentiality of business information, including Protected Health Information (PHI), as required by HIPAA and company policy.
- Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous sales experience, preferably in insurance, strongly preferred.
- Active Oklahoma Accident & Health Producer License or ability to obtain within four weeks of hire.
- Upon hire, must be able to complete and pass the AHIP certification annually.
- Valid state Drivers License and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong presentation skills, from individuals to large audiences
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High level of self-motivation; ability to accomplish goals independently
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships customers and community partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and sales tracking tools (Salesforce, EPIC)
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Physical effort represented by frequent handling of medium weight objects (approx. 20-50 lbs.) and materials. Work is sometimes performed in the Corporate office or employees home office, with minimal existing or potential hazards. When visiting a members home, this position may be temporarily exposed to unfavorable conditions such as variable temperatures, cramped space, and/or dirty or unpleasant quarters.
TRAVEL:
In-state travel is required up to 75% of the time.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
