Full description of the position

We are searching for motivated individuals to join our team! FileYourTaxes.com is one of the original cloud-based tax filing services. We work closely with the IRS and state governments to provide up-to-date services for our individual and professional clients.
As an Inside Sales and Support Representative, you will be responsible for helping to acquire and support customers for our cloud-based professional tax software products. You will help us attract and retain happy customers who are dealing with the very challenging and stressful activity of preparing taxes.

II. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

We have a marketing campaign that involves direct mail, social media, email, trade shows around the country, and phone calls. The sales part of the position will help us sell our tax software to tax professionals. You will learn to utilize proprietary software for prospecting and pipeline management.

Once the tax season gets started in January, the role turns to supporting our customers with their software-related questions.

Training includes learning to become a tax return preparer. FileYourTaxes.com will provide you a 60-hour tax preparer course and get you licensed to prepare taxes, giving you the opportunity to make extra money doing taxes.

IV. QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Due to Government Security Regulations), must agree to and successfully pass a background check.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail
• Proficiency with G-Suite or Microsoft Office
• Strong computer skills

PREFERENCE GIVEN TO THE FOLLOWING

• Multilingual capabilities
• Previous experience in customer service or sales

• Prior tax experience a plus, but not required
