This role will be responsible for leading analytic & insight driven activities, focusing on 4P solution driven reporting & tools, with a strong focus on Data Management. As the Sales Analytics Lead, you will work closely with internal stakeholders across the Nestlé Sales Organization developing and/or enhancing reporting/tools, providing recommendations and insights to drive organizational goals. You will also work closely with external stakeholders managing key data vendor relationships, while focusing on data acquisition & contract negotiation, budget management, and data cataloging.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Developing and managing annual data budget/contracts, while working closely with the data stakeholders & procurement, to negotiate new and existing contracts with multiple data vendors.
  • Supporting our sales organization with End-to-End Data Acquisition support, while developing and maintaining strong relationships with our data vendors.
  • Managing payment and other financial driven activities (Purchase order generation, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable issue resolution, & Credit management).
  • Provide assistance in planning, designing, developing, enhancing and implementing efficient analytical reporting & tools to support organization goals, while providing valuable insights to the sales organization.
  • Developing & providing ongoing training for key tools & resources to our Nestlé Sales organization

Skills & Competencies:
  • Demonstrates a strong comprehensive understanding of business goals and how they link together and takes the initiative to understand patterns and trends that also impact the business.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation and project management skills.
  • History with managing budgets/financials & key stakeholder relationships (both internal & external)
  • Facilitates discussions between self and others to deal constructively with issues and build a climate of trust, leverages difficult situations to strengthen relationships.
  • Takes immediate action to resolve issues or potential issues, ensuring stakeholders are properly communicated to about the potential impact.
  • Proactively and constructively challenges current practices and processes, generates alternative perspectives and/or suggestions that create value for the company.
  • Provides practical business insights from complex data sets.

Requirements:
  • 5 years of analytical experience as an analyst or as a manager in an analytics-related function.
  • 4 years of sales related CPG experience, retail level a plus.
  • BS/BA required
  • Strong IRi experience & acumen
  • Experience with learning new tools, systems, and processes and then developing and executing training plans for new tools, systems and processes across the organization.
  • Knowledge of core Business Processes and Fundamentals (Sales/Distribution, Merchandizing, Customer Planning and Managing, Financial Reporting, Training, Integrated Commercial Planning).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of generating and managing budgets.
  • Experience partnering with internal and external stakeholders, with demonstrated ability to develop key relationships.
