Full description of the position
The Digital Manager of Acquisition Marketing owns Paid Search, Paid Social, Display and Affiliate programs on behalf of the North America Too Faced Ecommerce Team. The position requires close collaboration and partnership with the North America Consumer Engagement/Marketing team, who manages Non-Brand Paid Search and Upper Funnel (Awareness/Considerations) Paid Media initiatives. The position requires a keen understanding of how to drive ecommerce sales via effective and cost-efficient marketing programs and will work directly with the Director of Ecommerce to oversee online marketing efforts and increase conversion through Branded ROI-focused programs.This role manages the agency relationships for these channels - and must be able to effectively communicate, organize and collaborate while ensuring business goals/targets are being met.
This role will also be the key point person to liaison with Global CE on new Online initiatives or programs that require social support / exposure, providing insights and details into the strategies. In addition to a close partnership with NA and Global Consumer Engagement, this role requires collaboration with Creative, Marketing, Social, Customer Service and all relevant agencies.
This position reports to the Director of Ecommerce Marketing, North America and requires proven analytical skills, strategic and creative thinking and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment in order to manage, drive and achieve both traffic and revenue goals.
Qualifications
PAID MEDIA (Search, Social, Display)
- Managing specific Search, Display, Paid Social budget line of A&P: work with vendors to execute paid search (Brand and Non-Brand) and display campaigns, coordinating programming with internal team
- Ensure highest volume of sales return
- Optimize programs and creative
- Create test plans, incorporating response analysis to optimize campaigns.
- Monitor, track and report campaign performance on an ongoing basis, while also remaining focused on competitive trends adjusting spend as necessary.
- Manage development of all creative, clarifying objectives, maintaining creative look and feel, as well as project timeline.
- Align with NA Consumer Engagement to ensure optimized, full-funnel media strategies
- Escalation when needed to senior management of challenges or obstacles
- Manage necessary data for online reporting and database maintenance.
Affiliate Marketing & Partnerships
- Managing specific Affiliate line of A&P: oversee Rakuten to optimize programs with specific Affiliate Partner(s), establish, measure and report on program performance.
- Work with internal functions (Creative, Copy, Marketing, Legal, etc.) to coordinate and develop all copy and creative assets necessary to support all channel programs.
- Evaluate programming opportunities with existing and prospective Affiliate Partners
- Review opportunities for new third party Acquistion partnerships (e.g Amex, GILT)
- Partner with internal PR team to leverage brand relationships/focuses to identify more opportunities to widen reach
MISC
- Utilizing data to develop new opportunities for onsite content and interactive tools to engage and convert site traffic.
- Support Director of Ecommerce in measurement of optimal ROI for marketing programs to determine best allocation for budgets.
- Represent online strategies, initiatives and KPIs with NA Too Faced brand team to better align vision
- Support Director of Ecommerce with analysis of key business metrics, marketing programs, custom sampling programs, customer retention, and cost of customer acquisition programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years' experience
- 2+ years related paid media business experience. College degree required.
- Direct to consumer or digital agency experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task; Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
- Strong organizational skills; Pro-active problem-solving abilities.
- Must be creative and able to develop content around TooFaced.com marketing strategy and consumer preferences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a brand advocate and team player.
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); hands-on familiarity with analytics tools (i.e., Google Analytics, Internal data system).
- Aptitude for working with Internet tools (i.e. web-based reports, databases and various multimedia technologies).
- In-depth understanding of website metrics, data analysis, and reporting too
