Full description of the position
Who you are: The HEARTBEAT of the company is our Field Sales Representative. You are the face of the brand and the engine that drives us forward. Seeking a Field Sales Rep to focus on the Inland Empire/Coachella Valley. Must have prior cannabis experience and be ready to build a territory from the ground up. You will work with a portfolio of products, from high-end cryo-cured resin vapes to our small batch indoor flower to licensed California dispensaries, actively collaborating with marketing, sales, account management, and operations teams.Job Responsibilities:
- Have a deep understanding of the CA Cannabis industry and represent our brand with the utmost respect and authenticity.
- Build relationships with dispensary managers, bud tenders, staff, buyers, and owners to help get the brand onto shelves and grow territory within the Inland Empire / Coachella Valley. Target list provided.
- Develop a deep understanding of the product portfolio, and new products coming to market, and have the competitive landscape of each product category.
- Sell a portfolio of products to licensed dispensaries & delivery services within a specific territory, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure accurate product orders.
- Pursue new business by identifying target accounts, performing prospecting activities, providing consistent follow-up, and securing new points of distribution.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to increase product placements and drive same store sales.
- Leverage all available marketing materials and promotional programming to increase sales velocity & repeat purchases.
- Coordinate and manage patient appreciation days, in-store promotions, and events.
- Provide consistent training on the CAKE portfolio, including new products and new flavor launches, to bud tenders, buyers, and dispensary staff.
- Maintain wholesale pricing and profit margin requirements to stay in line with department sales goals and company expectations.
- Deliver sales activity metrics that achieve and exceed account growth and revenue goals.
- Maintain sales activity and customer/prospect data in company CRM.
- Engage with cross-functional departments to gain a working knowledge of internal processes.
- Stay current on the latest cannabis industry news and consumer trends.
- Attend cannabis events and build a professional network of passionate and influential industry colleagues.
Job Requirements:- 1+ years of prior cannabis outside/field sales.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- Proven Success in building and managing outside sales pipeline.
- Ability to manage time effectively and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding customer service, ability to work with teams, and drive to succeed.
- Must come into Costa Mesa, CA facility every 1-2 times a month for sample pick ups / meetings.
- Passion for the cannabis industry.
- Prior CRM experience is helpful.
Compensation:- $40k-$60k base
- Uncapped 5% commission on all sales
- OTE $120k+
- Quarterly bonuses
