Your professionalism and communication skills will also be put to the test as you gain extensive exposure to key individuals across multiple lines of business throughout our organization and also to senior management of companies targeted for acquisition.



If you are located in Moline IL, you will have the flexibility to work remotely , as well as work in the office as you take on some tough challenges. If you are located outside of Moline IL, you will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S.



Primary Responsibilities:

• Support the acquisition of companies across the entire organization, including Optum and UnitedHealthcare, with valuations ranging from $1 million to $15 billion
  
• Complete financial and valuation analyses that support the purchase price we ultimately pay for an acquisition target, as well as coordinate and execute the overall M&A process
  
• Receive access to the senior most individuals within the organization and have an opportunity to build relationships with and learn from these key decision maker
  
• Coordinate and execute various special projects with executive and business senior leadership, primarily related to the evaluation of potential growth opportunities

  Required Qualifications:
  
  
  
  
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field from an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship (internships are not intended for graduating seniors)
    
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, 3.75 or above preferred
    
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)

    Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada or New York City Residents Only:The hourly range for Colorado residents is $16.00 to $17.07. The hourly range for Connecticut/Nevada/NYC residents is $16.00 to $19.18.
