The Commercial Banking (CB) Change Management (CBCM) organization is seeking a Change Management Leader responsible for managing the portfolio of change within our Commercial Lending and Data, Transformation, and Sales Enablement (DTSE) functions. This leader will report to the Head of CBCM and be a member of the CBCM leadership team.
The Commercial Lending portfolio includes Client Coverage, Credit Solutions, Client Strategy and Capital Management and CB Operations change initiatives. The DTSE portfolio includes Data and Sales Enablement change initiatives. This leader will be responsible for working closely with their business, control, technology, operations, and enterprise partners to drive greater alignment, effectiveness, and measurement of their change initiatives to achieve our desired customer and business outcomes. They will provide an end-to-end service model to provide a holistic view of change across investment prioritization, intake, planning, delivery, and business readiness. They will also be responsible for facilitating measurement, reporting and governance through regular initiative and portfolio reviews.
The Business Execution Director will manage a team of change professionals aligned across the end-to-end service model. They will also work closely with their peers on the Change Effectiveness team to ensure adherence to Enterprise Change Management (ECM) and CB procedures, as well as the Agile Enablement Office to accelerate our transition to a product-centric, customer focused organization.
This leader must work well with ambiguity in a rapid-paced environment. Superior change management and relationship building skills with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, including the CB Operating Committee, is a requirement.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop multiple business functional areas with focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for cross-functional stakeholders, and internal and external partners associated with the area of Business Execution or who are affected by its outcomes
- Identify Business Execution opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development over the long-term in order to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency
- Lead Business Execution team for assigned initiatives ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
- Interpret and develop a range of policies and procedures for long-range and fundamental retooling of perspective, approach, culture, quality, relationships, operations, and capabilities
- Collaborate and influence functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies or policies and business line objectives
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
- Support CB lines of business and functions during the investment prioritization process and as new opportunities/needs are identified throughout the year to focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, capabilities and process advancements to meet CB's strategic goals and objectives
- Lead the change planning process to ensure change initiatives are designed, integrated and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure and create efficiencies
- Lead the change delivery process to ensure initiatives are delivered on-time, on-budget and with quality to achieve our desired customer and business outcomes
- Lead the business readiness process to ensure impacted employees and customers are prepared for the change to generate sustainable outcomes
- Implement and facilitate measurement, reporting and portfolio management routines to drive transparency and visibility throughout the change lifecycle
- Ensure adherence to ECM and CB change procedures, as well as any other appliable enterprise policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development over the short and long-term to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency Required Qualifications, US:
- 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management experience Desired Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with broad knowledge in more than one of the following areas: commercial lending, treasury management, product management, operations, commercial lending technology, and relationship management
- Prior experience and track record working on large scale, operationally intense transformation/change management initiatives across a wide range of functions, including business, operations and technology
- Prior experience designing and operationalizing change management methodologies
- Strong understanding of agile and product management, preferably having played a key role in the transition of a traditional waterfall-based organization to agile
- Strong understanding and application of risk management principles
- Prior experience and track record working effectively with senior leadership
- Exceptional ability to translate complex business and operational concepts so they are clearly understood in support of sound decisions to meet business objectives
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate results
- Develops an independent point of view and can lead through problem solving
- Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and collaborate and consult with partners across the organization
- A BS/BA degree or higher preferred Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 25% Pay Range
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00 Annual
