Currently we are hiring multiple Territory Vice President New Logo Sales "TVP" to help grow our existing business through upsells and cross sells. This role also requires the TVP to build strong client relationships in order to understand the clients business to foster a high level of renewals and client retention.
We are a market leader in Risk and Insurance Technology solutions, is seeking individuals to help grow our business through new business/new logo direct sales (TVP).
Job Details
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of company's core products via successful completion of required sales demonstration training program and utilize this knowledge to successfully sell company product solutions to new customers in assigned vertical.
- Create and execute a vertical sales plan that meets or exceeds established revenue quotas and supports company annual recurring revenue growth targets.
- Optimize and implement account/penetration plan by working closely with SVP of North America Sales, CRO, and Marketing to maximize time in the field and overall efficiency through development and prequalification of leads.
- Responsible for sales strategy on RFIs, RFPs, and quotations. Facilitates legal support in all business transactions.
- Comfortable with independently demonstrating company software.
- Work closely with applicable VP, National Accounts to continuously understand customer utilization of company product solutions and capabilities.
- Build long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with new customers.
- Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects and be available and responsive to real-time needs.
- Work effectively with internal support departments (Client Services, Marketing, Legal, Consulting, Product Development) to promote sales for new customers to maximize company's visibility within assigned industry verticals.
- Attend conferences and professional association meetings and promote company product solutions and brand.
- Update CRM frequently with sales activity
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time --- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred), or equivalent job experience
- Proven track record of selling in the software industry.
- Consultative selling experience with a sophisticated and complex enterprise sales cycle. Must have Enterprise selling experience.
- Background and experience in selling into major accounts (Fortune 1000)
- Proven ability to self-manage against a set of defined goals and objectives.
- The ideal candidate should have an excellent understanding of insurance or risk industry developments and initiatives - This is not required but preferred
