Full description of the position

Description:An established foreign food manufacturer expands business in the United States and is currently looking for a driven and dynamic Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join the Sales and Marketing Department. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining sales and marketing activities.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships with Ecommerce channels through customer meetings, site visits, etc. to meet sales projections set by the Company
  • Prepare forecast and monthly, quarterly, and annual sales report to the top management
  • Create, update, and post online content on the company's website and social media accounts
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings, etc.)
  • Manage and create marketing literature to augment the company's presence in the market
  • Relay customer and consumer feedback to inner teams, i.e., R&D, Production, Quality, etc.
  • Update R&D team on a variety of food trends to create new SKUs and improve existing recipes
  • Being a key member of weekly/monthly sensory tasting to provide instant feedback on product quality
  • Participate in nation-wide food shows to approach business opportunities with prospects
  • Assist the sales and marketing department to implement new sales initiatives
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree required
    • 1-3 years experience in a sales organization/business unit in the food industry
    • Working knowledge of sales cycles according to customer types, i.e., retailers, wholesalers, food services, etc. Prior experience with Asian Ethnic retailers and wholesaler preferred
    • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to organize and prioritize in a fast paced environment
    • Ability and willingness to travel throughout assigned sales territory domestically and/or internationally as needed
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
    • Bilingual in Mandarin and English preferred
    • Proficient in Google Apps, MS Office Suite, etc.
