Job DescriptionJewelry sales consultants work directly with customers, helping to identify their needs and selling them merchandise. -They are expected to perform a number of tasks such as presenting -jewelry, conducting -sales, running credit cards, inspecting -jewelry and more. These professionals must be knowledgeable of the items in the store to answer potential customer questions and effectively sell. -Jewelry sales consultants must use their customer-service skills to effectively make sales presentations and build long-term relationships with customers. -Jewelry sales consultants must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Jewelry sales consultants may work a variety of hours depending on the needs of the business and the hours of operation for the store. Previous jewelry experience is preferred but we will provide on the job training. Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent for this position is required.
The Jewelry Sales Consultant position is commission and base salary. -
Some of the main duties of a jewelry associate include, but are not limited to:

• Greet customers as they arrive at the store in a positive manner
• Listen to customers' needs and requirements
• Engage them in conversation to truly understand their needs
• Provide the highest level of customer service
• Show every guest a piece of merchandise
• Assist the customers in making decisions to buy
• Lead customers through the buying process by boxing, wrapping and bagging their purchases
• Processing cash and credit card transactions
• Provide education to customers about product, warranties, and guarantees of sold pieces
• Turn over a guest if you cannot close the sale
• Achieve or exceed monthly sales goals
• Send out thank you notes to customers and maintain clienteling best practices
• Maintaining visual displays and assisting with merchandising
• Work positively and effectively with team members
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and cash wrap
• Adhere to Loss Prevention control and compliance procedures
• Perform other duties as needed
• Follow direction and guidance provided by management
• Report to work on time and ready to perform all job duties
