You'll Take Ownership of:
Greeting & assisting guests in a professional & courteous manner
Identifying customers' needs & providing knowledgeable assistance to help select the correct tool or equipment to serve that need
Closing & invoicing sales & helping load products as needed
Staying informed on all new & current products carried by Acme Tools
Answering customer questions over the phone & in-person, providing sales quotes for future purchases & researching product & inventory
Helping customers with equipment purchases with starting procedures & breaking-in periods & following up after the sale
Maintaining a clean & organized sales floor (fronting, pricing & stocking sales shelves for product displays & work areas, etc.)
Participating in store events (physical inventories, sales meetings, trade shows, special sales, etc.)
Maintaining a safe & secure work environment by adhering to & striving to improve safety standards & reporting any suspicious activity
Completing related tasks as assigned
You'll Need to Have:
1+ years of customer service experience
Strong computer skills & ability to learn new software
Strong communication skills
Ability to work a rotating Saturday shift
Ability to roll with the punches when it comes to taking on new, related challenges
We'd Love if You Have:
Some knowledge of tools & equipment
Physical Requirements of the Job:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand on a hard surface for the majority of your shift
Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend & reach
Ability to continuously climb & descend stairs safely
