Major Duties




Classification: Exempt, Non-Bargaining

This position may be located in Roseville CA; Sacramento CA.

Fidium is rapidly deploying world-class fiber internet service across its 23-state footprint. On our team, you will be a part of this exciting time in the history of our company as well as the regions that we serve. The Regional Market Manager will serve as the key sales and relationship leader for all residential and small business sales activities across their respective regions, including single and multi-family property types. You'll be responsible for a team of direct sales (D2D) representatives as well as multi-family and small business specialists, ensuring that they are meeting and exceeding key sales metrics. You'll work collaboratively with the expansion team to identify new market opportunities for growth and develop key strategies for launching these new markets across your region. Once launched, you'll be responsible for key market metrics including penetration, churn, and key customer satisfaction scores. You'll also serve as the regional expert in cross-functional conversations across marketing, construction, public relations and governmental affairs.

Responsibilities




Oversee a direct and multi-family residential sales team ensuring strong sales and stellar customer experience
Develop regional sales strategy, leveraging a wide range of tactics including door-to-door, events, pop-ups, etc to increase sales penetration throughout the region
Communicate the benefits of the Fidium fiber offering with key regional influencers, officials, and prospective customers
Work cross-functionally with expansion team to identify relevant expansion opportunities with the region
Serve as the regional expert in conversations involving marketing, construction, and governmental affairs
Intra-regional travel, ~25% as required




Qualifications




Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree (MBA, MPA) preferred
10 years of sales or relationship management experience, preferably in the telecommunications or technology fields
3 years of demonstrated team management experience
