Your Opportunity
Scion is paving a path in student living and we're seeking an experienced Sales Analyst to join us in executing our vision. This position will focus on providing accurate and efficient performance analysis, forecasting, and reporting, while driving continuous process improvement.
The Sales Analyst is curious, highly analytical and excels in a fast-paced, agile, corporate environment. This role demands a vigor for problem solving, strong analytical ability, attention to detail and proficient prioritization skills.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting
Contribute to building the overall sales reporting process through use of automation, databasing, and business intelligence tools.
Innovate ways to display and digest varying data points to provide insight and draw conclusions.
Assist in developing and analyzing key performance metrics for the sales team.
Assess weekly and monthly sales performance and determine key trends across individual properties and portfolios.
Create and maintain various tracking tools dedicated to providing a clear understanding and visibility of performance.
Develop presentations and detailed performance analysis results in a well-defined format.
Research & Forecasting
Perform special research, analysis, and ad hoc projects for a multitude of stakeholders on a frequent basis collaborating closely with all departments across the organization.
Share research findings with Sales, Revenue, and Operations team to adjust where deemed necessary based on observed trends.
Stay up to date on the latest university, student, and market trends.
Leverage executive communication skills to clearly explain analysis results to internal peers, senior management, external investors.

What We Require
Willing and able to travel up to 25% in a year, paid by the company.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet goals and deadlines timely and consistently.
Demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills; attentive to detail.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, or other STEM program is preferred; 1-3 years of professional experience
Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools is preferred (Looker is a plus)
Sharp business acumen; analytical and strategic thinking
Experience in the Student Housing or Multi-family industry preferred; proficient in current market trends and economic factors
Exceptional written and verbal communication; strong collaboration across all departments and with external partners
Operational Details
Job location is based at Scion's Chicago corporate headquarters.
Working hours consist of standard daytime business hours.
