Full description of the position
Benefits Coordinator responsibilities include: Presenting the no-cost benefit packages to all union, association, and credit union members and providing an overview of the voluntary supplemental benefits programs offered. Promote all types of new benefit programs for new members or suggest additions/changes to existing ones. Fostering productive relationships to create a pool of prospective members through the provided union, association, and credit union member leads by networking and using referrals. Evaluating individual members needs and proposing protection programs that meet their personal situations. Job brief We are looking for a passionate and determined Benefits Coordinator to generate new business by contacting potential members. You will sell, solicit, and negotiate benefit programs that match the needs of union, association, and credit union members along with their friends and family members. The goal is to build up strong positive relationships to ensure our working families are protected while growing the companys brand and reputation. Responsibilities Develop benefit strategies and promote all types of new benefit programs or suggest additions/changes to existing ones. Develop productive relationships to create a pool of prospective members from various sources including provided leads, as well as networking and using referrals. Evaluate individual members needs and propose protection plans that meet their personal situations. Maintain application and record-keeping systems on personal equipment used for work purposes. Constantly update job knowledge and learn about new products and services. Fulfill all policy requirements. Requirements Proven working experience as Benefits Coordinator or relevant experience. Basic computer knowledge. Proven ability to work with goals. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively while paying attention to detail, both written and spoken. Experience in delivering member-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships. High school or BS degree. Employment Type: Contract Bonus/Commission: YesRoland and Associates
