Responsibilities
Account Manager - Woodworking Surfaces - Outside Sales Representative
REHAU is seeking an ambitious and experienced Account Manager/Outside Sales Representative for our Furniture Business Division. This home office based position reports through our Grand Rapids, MI Sales Office and is responsible for growing our furniture components business throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma and the Dakotas.
Specific responsibilities of the Account Manager/Outside Sales Representative include:
Sell REHAU program lines including edgebanding, decorative surfaces and doors, tambour doors, hotmelt adhesives and custom profiles
Develop sales territory to include managing customer accounts and development of new business
Research the market and assess REHAUs potential in that market base
Assist in the development of the sales strategy to maximize market share
Establish and maintain working relationships, both internally and externally
Call on distributors, office furniture manufacturers and retail store fixture manufacturers for the purpose of converting them to REHAU products
Maintain customer database via Salesforce.com, including visits and opportunities.
Qualifications
Account Manager - Woodworking Surfaces - Outside Sales Representative
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university preferred
Three or more years of sales experience in the mill work/ woodworking/ cabinetry industry preferred
Experience with laminates or decorative surfaces preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Team player who works well individually, as well as part of a team
Proven ability to set and meet sales targets
Willingness to travel up to 50 percent of the time
REHAU offers excellent benefits and salary commensurate with experience. Compensation consists of salary plus sales incentive and car allowance.
