Hardwood Sales Representative, San Francisco, CA area:

MacBeath Hardwood: For over 60 years, MacBeath Hardwood has been in the business of customer satisfaction. Our secret recipe has always been a premier product; hardwood lumber coming from consistent sources that have been cultivated for decades.

Our 15-acre production facility in Edinburgh boasts the ability to serve a customer base both large and small. With an inventory of close to 3 million board feet of lumber, roughly half of which is ready to ship, MacBeath is in the position of being your just-in-time supplier of quality hardwood products.

Other locations: Stockton CA, Berkeley CA, Salt Lake City UT, Phoenix AZ, Tempe AZ, Tucson AZ

Domestic Lumber Species: Alder, Ash, Basswood, Beech, Birch, Butternut, Cherry, Red Gum, Hickory, Maple, Red Oak, White Oak, Poplar, & Walnut.

Plywood: Carry a full line of sheet goods, including Unfinished & Prefinished hardwood plywood, MDF & Ultralite MDF & Melamine.

Kiln drying capacity of 450,000 board feet. This allows us to directly control the drying process in house, a critical step in the quality control of fine hardwood lumber. We have two certified NHLA lumber graders on staff that inspect and evaluate every single board before and after the kiln drying process.

Duties & Responsibility:

Territory coverage; San Francisco Bay area

Maintain and build on a large existing customer base

Stimulate new sales in territory by emphasizing existing product line

Establish solid customer relationships

Cultivate and grow potential customer base in assign territory

Daily travel by car

Qualified applicant must possess the following skills:

Self-motivating/reliable Is self-guided to achieve territory goals

Strong work ethic Knows what it takes to accomplish given tasks

Strong communication skills -Convey feedback on activities

Strong coordination skills Plan and execute a weekly call cycle

Mid-level computer skills (Windows-Office, Excel, Skype, etc.)

Practical field experience of North American hardwoods species an asset

Salary: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year

Experience:

• Outside Logistic Sales: 4 years (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
