The Lead Development Representative is the first point of contact at The Channel Company for partner recruitment and lead development. As such, the LDR has an important role in representing The Channel Company and their clients with brand and building a relationship of trust with their customers. The LDR is pivotal in establishing a meaningful relationship that the Sales Representatives can build upon. Key to being successful in this role is the ability to have a focused attention to prospecting new contacts and using Marketstars suite of tools to engage those contacts.

Key Responsibilities & Attributes for Success:
  • Convert warm leads into appointments, create great experiences for customers
  • Engage in solutions-based business-level conversations to influence customers and, to ultimately close sales. Including communicating value proposition, motivating customers, serving as client advocate, building interest and resolving concerns to close business
  • Manage contact info, schedules, calendaring, and communications
  • Maintain SalesForce hygiene
  • Be proactive with contact management
  • Precise attention to detail while continually optimize the process to exceed goals
Whats required to be considered:
  • 4-year degree preferred
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Previous business to business sales preferred
  • Excellent sales skills with proven ability to meet goals
  • Solid business acumen
  • Tech-savvy with an affinity for innovative and emerging technology
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including outstanding telephone presence
  • Ability to effectively stay task oriented in a dynamic environment
  • Self-reliant, motivated, adaptable, decisive, and professional
