Ways you will make an impact:

• Play a critical role in building a robust community of philanthropic support by partnering with physician leadership and their care teams.
• Plan and implement major gift fundraising strategies including identification, cultivation, and stewardship of major gift donors.
• Build relationships with health system leaders and work with patients and families to align their philanthropy with charitable priorities at Nebraska Medicine and UNMC.

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience in development, fundraising, sales, account management, talent acquisition or a related field with transferrable skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated success in the solicitation of annual and major gifts, or transferable skills.
• Ability to effectively coordinate and manage a variety of projects and programs simultaneously.
• Discretion in handling confidential matters.
