Professional Services Account Executive in Pittsburgh, PA
We are looking for someone with experience selling enterprise software, who can leverage strategic and enterprise sales skills to reach executive-level decision-makers and build strong relationships with potential customers. This individual is responsible for an annual quota and will drive initial and follow-on sales. Candidates must demonstrate outstanding sales leadership and be versed in best practices of value selling. Successful applicants will be highly motivated professionals who can operate on an independent basis. Our commission plan offers accelerators above 100% quota achievement and travel will generally not be required. What You'll Be Doing
- Own the full sales cycle from prospect creation, value proposition, negotiation and close within net new accounts and the customer base
- Meet revenue targets and strategic objectives, including growing the sales pipeline, creating territory plans
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Work with management to develop sales strategy, negotiate pricing and contract terms
- Develop and execute on sales campaigns to grow funnel within your business
- Actively use Salesforce and maintain weekly, monthly and quarterly sales forecasts
- Ensure best-in-class customer sales satisfaction and reference-ability with our customers
- Any other duties assigned
Required Skills
- 5+ years of sales experience in solution software selling to Global 2000 clients successfully achieving quotas.
- Proven experience as a hunter who can manage a territory and proactively create new funnel opportunities.
- Strong business acumen and experience to navigate large, complex customers
- A strong independent work ethic (no micromanaging) and positive attitude that strives to exceed expectations.
- Experience and knowledge of network technology a plus but not mandatory
- Can articulate a vision, influence others, organize resources and deliver the results
