SUMMARY:

The Comfort Advisor is responsible for sales for the Residential Replacement Division of Hunter Super Techs and its family of companies (the company). A Comfort Advisor shall work with Sales Manager and other leadership/departments to exceed their Sales and Professional Goals including administrative duties, technical knowledge, sales presentation, and daily responsibilities of Comfort Advisor position.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:


Sales Results

Creates a monthly/annual sales forecast and attainment plan.

This includes creating a detailed plan of where the opportunities will come from, closing ratio and average sales goals, obtaining sales and technical training, identifying unique markets and creating a development plan and tracking results on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.


Ensures that job packages are accurate and complete and are delivered to Operations in a way that meets all established procedures.


Ensures effective control of sales results and that corrective action takes place to be certain that the achievement of Sales objectives are met or exceeded.


Business Development

  • Develops and executes a formal Sales Plan that identifies unique target markets, provides annual sales goals and objectives that are measurable, execute the plan and provide the Sales Manager with progress updates on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • The plan should be developed to be used on an ongoing basis, and updated at least quarterly.
  • The Sales Plan should demonstrate the Comfort Advisor's in-depth knowledge of the needs of the target customer and the industry, and include primary and alternate strategies to meet revenue projections. Establishes Sales goals to ensure share of market and profitability of Company services.


Self-Generated and Referral Leads

  • Develops the skill and discipline to secure sales leads through development of personal relationships, client advocacy and sales closing negotiations.
  • Set Self Gen and Referral Lead goals with the Sales Manager.
  • Provide the Sales Manager with progress updates on a weekly/monthly basis.


Professionalism

  • Communicates effectively and appropriately when dealing with other departments and/or personnel at levels above and below this position’s level.
  • Demonstrates the initiative and creativity for self-development within and outside the company.
  • Maintains and ensures the highest level of professionalism in all forms of client communications (written and verbal communications, formal and informal presentations, proposals, etc.).
  • Submits accurate and timely sales tracking information.
  • Maintains accuracy of a detailed client database.
  • Works with other departments to represent the objectives of the client
  • Adheres to company policy and procedures on expense reporting, time reporting, commission submittals and other administrative responsibilities.
  • Submit reports to the Sales Manager as required which include, but are not limited to, weekly sales report, with detailed information regarding Average Ticket, Job Revenue, Lead Source, Opportunity Distribution, Revenue/ Lead, and others that may be deemed as important to evaluate performance.


Team Member

Demonstrates a positive attitude in order to resolve internal conflicts, foster a team concept, and help create a constructive working environment for superiors, peers, and subordinates within the Sales Department as well as other departments.


QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:


Preferred Requirements:
Strong telephone skills, professional interpersonal skills, typing and filing. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and SW21 a plus.
