What You Will Be Doing


The Senior Account Executive, Enterprise is a member of our Sales team reporting directly to the Chief Sales Officer. In this role you will sell Exacts payment facilitation (payfac) platform to enterprise Software Platforms, working opportunities from discovery to closed-won. The ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully closing deals in the Enterprise and Mid Market segments, ideally with financial services or SaaS experience. This role is best fitted for an enthusiastic, high-energy communicator, who enjoys consultative sales to large organizations and building relationships with a variety of stakeholders.


  • Develop relationships and close new sales with Enterprise and Mid Market Accounts, these accounts will be software platforms with merchants processing >$100M in Gross Payments Volume annually
  • Hunt for new opportunities within our target market when necessary and leverage your networking skills to increase awareness of the Exact Payments brand
  • Sell with confidence and expertise in consulting prospects in making decisions around payments integrations
  • Own the client relationship throughout the sales process to close and successful transition deals to implementations and customer success to go-live
  • Be able to successfully connect with, and sell to, multiple levels within an organization
  • Create demand by uncovering business problems and matching them to our platform solution
  • Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to understand the selling-points of our payfac product and provide feedback to the product team on the market response to them

About You


  • 7+ years experience in sales, partnerships, or client facing roles with several years focused on closing deals in the Enterprise or Mid Market segments
  • Preferred minimum of 3+ years of experience with financial services or payments
  • Ability to understand and discuss API specs at a technical level
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment, while continuously acting with a sense of urgency
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with external and internal stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of the way SaaS software platforms operate, and the priorities that drive decisions from the C-level in Enterprise Accounts
  • Proven background successfully selling and a consistent record of beating quota
  • Experience developing proposals, business cases, and other content
  • Ability to develop relationships with clients and internal teams built on trust and credibility
  • Self-driven, motivated and result-oriented
